Pet Care

During the grooming process all care is taken to ensure the health of your pet is considered. Dial a Dog Wash operators and owners are not liable for any pre-existing conditions and problems found during grooming. Any advice given regarding health problems should be checked out by a vet.

We do not take on any dogs with any health problems. All dogs must be able to stand whilst being groomed, failure to tell us any problems when booking in will result in the Full grooming fee being taken without the dog being groomed.

De-matting

In the event of matted fur needing a clip down, the owner should be aware that irriatation may occur from the shaving process. Due to matts sometimes being tight to the skin, the dog's skin may get caught because of the close proximity of working to the skin. The owner agrees that Dial a Dog Wash shall not be held liable for any after grooming effects of matt clipping procedures or problems 'uncovered' on a badly matted neglected coat. The owner agrees to pay all costs for the grooming of the dog including de-matting, whether or not the groomer is able to complete the job.

Please note that we reserve the right to charge more on occasion where the dog is going to take far longer to groom that is normal for that breed, due to coat condition ( matted ). We will always make you aware whilst we are grooming the dog.

All groomers now charge a dematting fee! as this is not part of regular grooming either fixed price normally £5.00 to £10.00 or £2.50 for every 15 mins spent.

Aggressive Dogs

Dial a Dog Wash reserves the right to refuse to groom any pet for the safety of the groomer and the dog. The owner agrees to inform Dial a Dog Wash prior to grooming if the dog has bitten or has aggressive tendancies. The owner understands they will be held liable for all bites caused by their dog.We also reserve the right to refuse the dog and take Full payment on the day if we havent been told this information when making the booking.

Cancellations

Missed / Forgotten appointments will incur the Full fee of the grooming charge. Cancellation less than 2 working days (Mon-Fri) will also incur a booking fee. This fee covers admin costs etc . We do have a waiting list of people wanting an earlier appointment with us.

Money Back Guarantee

The money back guarantee only applies to genuine complaints of which will be fully investigated by Dial a Dog Wash Coventry. The initial complaint must be received by Dial a Dog Wash within 24 hours after the grooming of the pet in question. Guarantee of service and any refunds, will only be considered if a customers dog has been groomed professionally, 8 weeks prior to Dial a Dog wash calling . This is so that the dogs coat is in good condition and free from any knots or matts. Please Note:This guarantee will not apply to dogs with pre-existing illnesses or dogs with poorly maintained coats, matting, etc or dogs that are aggressive or badly behaved.

Please make sure your dog has relieved itself prior to grooming.
